American Cake Decorating Quickie

Instructor: Linda Moreno

In this class, Linda guides you through cake decorating start to finish, from splitting and filling a cake to crumb coating, icing and decorating with borders, flowers, and writing. You will learn the basic fundamentals of decorating tools, cake preparation, as well as icing methods including the best ways to apply and smooth icing. By the time you finish this class you will be very popular with your cake loving friends and family.

Students work on a real cake, which are provided by Spun Sugar. 


A light lunch of pizza and salad will be served.



Skill level: This is the perfect class for beginners and/or those needing a refresher on the basics. The minimum age to enroll in this class is 12 years.

Maximum 8 students per class - Seats are limited, so sign up early!



ACD I Supply List: Tips # 3, 6, 18, 21, 48, 69, 104, 133 & 352; 2 small couplers; #7 flower nail; 12" pastry bag; parchment triangles; 12" disposable pastry bags; basic food colors; 6" straight metal icing spatula. Optional: turntable, but recommended and a pair of small sharp scissors. You may bring your own supplies or ready made kits are available at Spun Sugar.
